Summary Saad Khan says that jeep rally in Cholistan is a bid to attract tourists to promote areas culture.
Talking to media in Bahawalpur, MD Tourism Development Corporation Punjab Saad Khan said that inaugural ceremony of 7th Cholistan Jeep Rally will take place on February 16 Bahawalpur’s Noor Mehal.Qualifying tally will start and February 17 and final rally will take place of February 18 near Qilla Derawar.MD TDCP said that more than hundred drivers are expected to participate in the rally 225 km rally.He also added that all the arrangements have been finalized in this regard and 23 official departments including, Pakistan Army, Desert Rangers, Police, local administration, Health department and others had been contacted in this regard for cooperation and all the said department had assured complete support to make this rally a real success as around 1,00,000 visitors including foreigners are expected to witness this jeep rally.
