Summary Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho attends special ceremony in his honour in Bolivia.
Bolivian President Evo Morales presented a sports medal to Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho in Sucre in recognition of his sporting prowess.The Flamengo player was in the capital ahead of a Libertadores Cup match next week.Manager of the Rio De Janeiro team, Wanderley Luxemburgo, was also present at the honours ceremony.Ronaldinho, has a huge fanbase in Bolivia and crowds of people turned out on to the city streets to try to catch a glimpse of him.I give thanks for the warmth of the people, Im talking about my club, Flamengo. Thank you very much. This motivates me to continue, said Ronaldinho.Morales said he, too, was a fan.We have decided to make this little recognition of Ronaldinho, wishing him lots of success. I am an admirer. Receiving a team like Flamengo here in Sucre, the capital of Bolivia, is a big honour, said Morales.Ronaldinho joined Flamengo from AC Milan a year ago and almost sat out of the Libertadores match over a payment dispute with his new club.
