Summary Rustam-e-Pakistan Usman Pehlwan says the wrestling authorities are bringing bad name to Pakistan.
Speaking to Dunya News after defeat of Pakistani wrestler Shahid Khoewala at the hands of Indian wrestler Sutinder Singh, the Rustam-e-Pakistan said that the tour management didn’t inform Pakistani wrestlers well in time that Indian wrestlers are touring Pakistan. He said that on the other hand, since Indian wrestlers knew about the tour, they practiced well.Furthermore, the Rustam-e-Pakistan said that tour management was also shying away from contracting good wrestlers for bouts, and would get players who would charge less fee to fight Indian wrestlers. He said the management should not play with the name of the country.
