Serbias Ana Ivanovic reached the final of WTA Tournament of Champions after defeating Nadia Petrova of Russia 6-1, 7-5 on Saturday.Both players struggled to hold serve in the second set, but Ivanovic secured a crucial break in the 11th game to go ahead 6-5 and then held serve to progress to the final for the second straight year.After a dismal first set, Petrova battled back into the contest, but couldnt make enough of her break point opportunities.Ivanovic will play the winner of Saturdays other semifinal between Spains Anabel Medina Garrigues and third seed Sabine Lisicki of Germany on Sunday.At about 11:00 p.m. local time the previous evening, Ivanovic was awakened by an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale with an epicenter off of Balis southeast coast.I jumped out of the bed.
