Summary Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday changed the venue of Under-16 Championship.
The tournament has been shifted from Lahore to Peshawar in view of dengue threat.As per details, PHF administration shifted the Under-16 Championship from Lahore to Peshawar to escape the impending attack of dengue virus. The championship was scheduled to be played in Lahore from October 1 but on changing the venue its schedule is also changed.Championship would start from October 11 and culminate on October 22. Eight teams including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir from all over the country will show their talent in the tournament.Pakistan Hockey Federation officials said that all the teams are informed about the changed venues and schedule.
