Summary The national under-16 hockey and weightlifting championships have been postponed due to dengue.
The executive body of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) held meeting in Lahore, in which decided to postpone the championship. The U-16 championship was scheduled to begin from October 1. The Punjab Weightlifting Association also postponed the weightlifting championship which was scheduled to begin from September 28. Prior to this the National T20 tournament was shifted from Lahore to Karachi due to fear of dengue.
