World record holder David Rudisha had a rare loss in the 800 metres, finishing second to Mohammed Aman of Ethiopia at the Milan Notturna meet.The 17-year-old Aman passed Rudisha entering the final straight at Milans 19th century Arena Civica and edged the Kenyan to the line in 1 minute, 43.50 seconds with Rudisha crossing seven hundredths behind.Having won his first world title last month and then having competing in Rieti and Brussels over the past week, Rudisha appeared tired.Rudisha clocked 1:41.33 in Rieti a week ago for the best time this year, slightly off his world mark of 1:41.01 set there last year.Last years IAAF World Athlete of the Year, Rudisha had been virtually unbeatable since failing to advance from the semifinals at the 2009 world championships in Berlin.Aman won his semifinal heat at last months worlds in Daegu, South Korea, but finished eighth in the final.In other events, double amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius of South Africa won the 400 in a respectable 45.97, considering that the track was flooded with water by a rainstorm; Commonwealth Games champion Silas Kiplagat of Kenya took the 1,500 in 3:33.28; and recently crowned world champion Olha Saladuha of Ukraine won the womens triple jump with a leap of 14.94 metres.
