Summary China defeated Japan 3:0 in its first match at the 2nd Asian Women's Hockey Championship in Ordos.
The Chinese No 21, forward Zhao Yudiao, scored the first goal in the 4th minute, while Fu Baorong, No. 8, and Sun Sinan, No. 6, scored a second and third goal in the 25th and 31st minute respectively.Chinese players controlled the pace of the match with good teamwork and tactics, and penetrated vulnerable defense of Japan, which also missed several scoring opportunities.The second Asian Womens Hockey Championship kicked off on September 3 in Ordos, which also hosts the first Asian Mens Hockey Championship opening at the same day.
