Australia has chosen a grass surface at Royal Sydney Golf Club for its Davis Cup World Group playoff against Switzerland in September.Tennis Australia said in a statement Saturday that the Sept. 16-18 match would be the first major tennis event at Royal Sydney since a Fed Cup match in 2001 won 4-1 by Australia, also over Switzerland.Davis Cup captain Pat Rafter said our priority is to get back in the World Group and we are doing everything we can to achieve this.Australia beat China 3-1 the final match was not played in the second round in April. Switzerland, with Roger Federer playing doubles and singles, defeated Portugal 5-0.The Australia-Switzerland winner will advance to the topflight World Group next year.
