Summary Britain's Gary Hunt won Cliff diving world champion with 459.90 points.

An estimated 15,000 spectators gathered around the 27-metre high dive platform at Scaliger Castle in Malcesine to enjoy the Italian leg of the cliff diving world series.Reigning champion Hunt won with his trademark triple quad: a triple back somersault with four twists and 6.3 degree of difficulty that scored 459.90 points.Russias Artem Silchenko was second with a back armstand 2-½ somersaults with 1-½ twists that gave him 449.35 points.Third place went to Michal Navratil of the Czech Republic, who chose a back armstand 2-½ somersaults with 2 twists. His dive gave him 413.35 points. The surprise of the tournament was Mexican wildcard entry Jonathan Paredes, who finished fourth just behind Navratil with 411.70 points. Hunt has 89 series points, Navratil 60 and Silchenko 55.
