Australian team has slipped to fifth place, while Pakistani team secured three points and maintained 6th position.Australia has dropped behind England into fifth position. It is for the first time that Australians are placed below England on the Test table since the rankings were introduced in 2003. India and Australia had entered the series on 127 and 113 ratings points, respectively. Australia lost 3 points following their losses while India gained 3 points.Indians are at number one and even if India had lost both the matches against England, they would still have been ranked number one.
