Summary PCB has criticised ICC task force's report on the state of cricket in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Cricket Board labeled the ICC report a scholarly exercise from people who failed to even visit Pakistan.The report, which was submitted to the ICCs board meeting in Hong Kong last month, contained recommendations on the Pakistan governments role in the PCB and its selection committee.The PCB issued a statement on Wednesday saying the circumstances in Pakistan are unique and cricket administration requires and deserves government support without which international cricket may not be able to return to Pakistan.The task force was formed in the wake of the 2009 attack in Lahore by terrorists that killed six policemen.The PCB wrote that cricket couldnt be promoted in Pakistan without governments help. It said Pakistan has a reputation and standing in international cricket, therefore its system couldnt be branded as poor. The PCB demanded the ICC should play role for Pak-India series.
