Summary Clashes broke out between soccer fans and police after arrest of Chairman Turkish Premier League.
According to details, violence broke out between fans of Fenerbache Club and the police after a Turkish court jailed the chairman of the Turkish Premier League Aziz Yildirim on match fixing charges. Yildirim joined 25 people already remanded in custody after police found evidence of manipulation in 19 Turkish Premier League matches.The fans rejected the court’s decision and pelted stones on police. Police also baton charged the protesters.
