Summary The athletes fared exceptionally well during the Special Olympics Games in Athens.
The 85-member Pakistani contingent of Special Olympics came back to Pakistan.The athletes landed in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi where their relatives and citizens gave them a warm welcome.The athletes got a warm welcome at Karachi’s Jinah international Airport where not only their family members but a large number of citizens greeted them on their commendable performance in Athens. The Players expressed their jubilation, saying that they were feeling proud for earning honour to Pakistan.
