The postponed match will now be played on June 30. The Pakistani squad was ready to take on the host, Holland, when the local administration issued a storm warning and advised that the match should be postponed. This is the first time in history of Hockey that a match has been delayed on such notices. Earlier, despite the Madrid bombings, Pakistan’s hockey match was played and not delayed.Pakistan was up against Holland and German was facing England on June 27. The delayed matches have now been scheduled on June 30.
