Summary ICC announced Tuesday that four non-Test playing nations would compete in the next World Cup.

International Cricket Councils governing body reversed the ban that had outraged minnows including Ireland and Holland.The ICC in a statement said its executive board had approved 14-team contest in Australia and New Zealand in 2015, with 10 places going to the Test-playing nations and the second-tier teams having to pre-qualify for the remaining four places.On the other hand, the ICC has reduced the number of teams from 16 to 12 for the Twenty-20 World Cup. ICC said two associate teams will play in addition to the 10 full members. The ICC has also approved referral system for ODIs and Tests, but reviews of umpires decisions will not be allowed in T-20 matches.
