Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt and Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed left for the annual International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Board meeting in Hong Kong from the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. Ijaz Butt tried to avoid the media at the airport and refused to comment on the questions asked. He also refused to comment when asked about the ICC’s agenda of eliminating government influences on the cricket boards. However, Ijaz Butt confirmed of talks being held with the Indian Cricket Board on a two nation cricket series. Ijaz Butt then said that all the questions would be answered by the Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed. Answering a question, Subhan Ahmed said that ending the ICC’s rotation policy would hamper the countries that do not have a chance of becoming the president of the ICC.
