Sri Lanka was co-host of Cricket World Cup, 2011 along with India and Bangladesh. Theft of financial record was discovered in the board’s office after two months of the event.Meanwhile, Sri Lankan Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage has expressed surprise over the theft of two computer hard discs containing the World Cup record and said that the case has been referred to police as a robot didnt come and steal the hard discs.Police had begun investigations and taken finger prints of the board employees.
