Summary Junior and Youth Athletic Championship started in Lahore. Punjab has gained victory on first day.
In the championship at Punjab Stadium, athletes from different departments of the four provinces including Railways, Army, PAF, Wapda and Islamabad are participating.The players of Punjab marked victory on first day’s competition including boys’ shot-put, girls’ long jump and youth category long jump.Yasir Ali of Wapda won 100-metre hurdle-race while Muhammad Tahir of PAF won 110-metre junior hurdle-race.Meanwhile, Amna Siraj of PAF was winner of girls’ hundred-metre hurdle-race.
