Coronavirus disrupts Pakistani sporting events

LAHORE (Web Desk) - The outbreak of novel coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to cause disruption to sporting events around the world, while a host of sporting events in Pakistan have also been suspended in an effort to slow the spread of the disease.

The Pakistan Sports Board Karachi has suspended all games and all tracks remain closed in National Couching Centre.

In this unprecedented situation all gymnasiums have also been locked as they are identified as ‘high-risk’ places by several international health organizations.

Authorities have also suspended all boxing events and practices and closed all hostels of athletes.
