ISLAMABAD (APP) - Captain of Pakistan Kabbadi team Irfan Mana Jutt analyzing on Wednesday that winning of Kabbadi World Cup for the country and victory against the traditional rival was his childhood dream which came true finally.
He stated that wining from traditional opponent was so crucial that hold team could not sleep in nights due to fear of losing World Cup, with the grace of almighty Allah the team grabbed the title of World Champion in Kabbadi for the first time.
He said that he had been doing constant hard practice for last 16 years to represent Pakistan in an international championship of Kabbadi.
Replaying to a question he said that the team was not playing up to the mark in first phase but during break the team decided to give tough time to the traditional rival and turned the situation around, moreover Shafiq Chisti proved to be too heavy for the opponents.
Irfan Mana was representing Pakistan Air Force team and was extremely glad to play against India and holding the World Cup for his homeland.
“We had looked after the traditional rival with great hospitality, presented gifts and provided them comfortable environment as the players of neighbor country did also praise us for showing respect to them, ” Irfan Mana said.
