Muhammad Asif wins second national snooker title

KARACHI (Web Desk) – World champion Muhammad Asif on Wednesday won national snooker championship for third time.

Pakistani cueist Muhammad Asif won his third national title after beating Shahid Aftab 8-5 in the final of 45th National Snooker Championship played in Lahore.

Asif’s opponent Shahid Aftab took control from the beginning and won five consecutive frames and maintained a lead of 6-2. Asif reduced his lead by winning next two frames but Shahid won the 11th frame and again maintained a lead of 7-4.

World Champion Asif made a comeback and won the title by winning next four frames.
