Summary Wasim Akram has said that replacing Afridi with Mishbah as captain is not the right decision by PCB.
In an interview to an Indian TV channel, former Pakistan national cricket team captain Wasim Akram criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) decision saying that Misbah ul Haq could not prove himself worthy for the captaincy even in the test cricket.He said that differences between the coach and captain in not a new thing in Pakistan cricket but he could not understand why Afridi was stripped of captaincy. He held the PCB chairman, Ejaz Butt, responsible for that.The former captain said that Afridi playing under the leadership of Misbah would not be a good omen for Pakistan cricket.
