Summary Petra Kvitova scored an upset win over Victoria Azarenka in WTA Madrid Masters final.
The 18th seeded Kvitova of Czech Republic scored 7-4, 6-4 victory over 4th seeded Azarenka of Belarus in the final. This was Kavitova third title win this year and first on clay.With the Madrid title victory the 21 years old Czech player also improved her rankings and for the first time in her career entered the top ten list of WTA ranking.
