(Web Desk) – Boxer Amir Khan was over the moon for being among the select few in the world, who have been bestowed with such a prestigious honor of receiving a piece of cloth from Roza-Rasool (P.B.U.H).

Amir Khan is in the Kingdom for his fight against the Australian fighter Billy Dip at the King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah.

According to BBC, the boxer was ecstatic to have the fight in Saudi Arabia.

‘This is just the start of our plans. We intend to make Saudi Arabia a big-fight capital just like Las Vegas, New York and London and in time I believe that it will be just as big as those cities. My fight with Dib is breaking new ground here and I want to put on a real show for the public,’ said Khan.

During his visit to the Kingdom, which was after an interval of 10 years, he was gifted the precious cloth from the Roza-e-Rasool (P.B.U.H). Amir in his Instagram post mentioned how lucky he feels to have been honored with such a gift.

‘Honoured and very lucky to have received the original cloth from Prophet Muhammed’s pbuh grave room. Will cherish this all my life,’ he added.
