Summary Pakistan retained its sixth spot on the International Cricket Council (ICC) one day rankings.
Despite winning the ODI series against West Indies, Pakistan lost three points on the ICC rankings table as the team lost three out of its last six matches. However, no change occurred in the team rankings of the country. South African run-machine Hashim Amla retained its top position in the ODI batting rankings. Pakistani all rounder Muhammad Hafeez jumped 17 ranks in batting rankings and settled at 49th after an impressive show in the Caribbean. Young batsman Asad Shafiq took a leap of 23 rankings and reached 68th.Kiwi skipper Daniel Vettori is firm at his number one position in bowling rankings.Bamboozling the Windies with his off-spin and dosra, Pakistani bowler Saeed Ajmal leaped 16 rankings and perched himself at number three at the bowling rankings. Skipper Shahid Afridi faced a decline in bowling rankings as he moved back at 14th from nine.Muhammad Hafeez advanced to sixth spot from 12th in ICC ODI all-rounder rankings ranking.
