Summary Pakistan women cricket team won the first match of the Quadrangular Series in Colombo.

Pakistan women team scored the winning run on the last ball of the innings to beat Sri Lanka by two wickets. The 50 overs were revised to 27 after the match hampered by rain. After winning the toss, Pakistan decided to field first. The Pakistani bowling attack stumped the Sri Lankan side as they could only scores 68 runs in 24.2 over before being bowled out. The collapse of the top and middle order led to the low score as all the six bowlers used took wickets. Qanita Jalil and captain Sana Mir took two wickets each. The Pakistani side wasn’t off to a good start and neither did the batting line-up shine. Bismah Maroof scored 22 runs while Nida Dar scored 16. Despite that batting collapse, Pakistan successfully chased the target at the loss of eight wickets.
