Summary Robert Kubicas doctor reckons it is still too early to tell is he can ever return to racing.
Dr Riccardo Ceccarelli a consultant with the Lotus-Renault GP team told the media that it is too early to determine whether Robert Kubica can ever return to racing. He said that it won’t be until august and that too won’t guarantee if he can race in Formula One. Robert Kubica was injured in a rally accident in early February, sustaining severe damage to his right hand, arm and leg. After four surgeries and months in the hospital, the Lotus Renault driver is expected to be released in a weeks time.Kubica is undergoing extensive rehab under the supervision of Dr Ceccarelli. He said that rebuilding the nerves for Kubicas right hand, which was almost severed in the accident, is the longest process and it will take four month to analyse what the recovery would be like.
