Summary Pakistan beat the West Indies Vice Chancellor XI in the first warm up match by 67 runs.

The Pakistan cricket team was off to a winning start in the Caribbean tour as they beat West Indies Vice Chancellor XI in the first warm up match, in St Lucia.In the match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. The team led by opener and Captain Muhammad Hafeez scored a total of 287 runs in 50 overs. In the opening stand, Taufeeq Umar scored a 44 runs. Muhammad Hafeez scored a century, but after scoring 103 runs, Hafeez was called back to give the other players a chance to bat. Ahmad Shahzad scored 49 runs and Umar Akmal scored 58 runs and remained not out.On the other hand, the West Indies Vice Chancellor XI only was bowled out at 220 runs.Pakistan Cricket team manager Intikhab Alam said that Shahid Afridi, Misbahulhaq, Saeed Ajmal and Sadaf Hussain were rested from the warm up match.
