Summary The 71st Punjab Games concluded with colourful ceremony. Lahore secured first position.
More than 2500 athletes from 9 divisions participated in 3-day Punjab Games which were held at Punjab Stadium Lahore. Competitions of 27 categories were held in which Lahore secured first position, while Faisalabad and Gujranwala secured second and third positions respectively.Addressing to the concluding ceremony, Punjab Governor Latif Khosa said that promotion of sports in the country was need of the hour. He said that there was no shortage of talent in Pakistan that was to be hunted and polished.
