Summary Hawk-Eye issued a calcification stating that Tendulkar was not-out in the World Cup semi-final.
Stephen Carter, the managing director of Hawk-Eye Innovations said that the decision to overturn Sachin Tendulkar’s ‘Leg-Before-Wicket’ appeal was 100 percent accurate, as he defended the technology. Saeed Ajmal was baffled after his appeal for out was over turned. Ajmal said that he was 110 percent sure, it was a legitimate out. Tendulkar was called lbw on the 11th over of the innings on 23 runs. After the Hawk-Eye review, the decision was over turned and he went on to make 85 runs.
