(Web Desk) – Hollywood action juggernaut Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson might make an appearance at the 1,000th episode of WWE’s weekly episodic television show SmackDown.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has approached ‘The Great One’ to appear at the landmark show in Washington on October 16.

Johnson, in his ring moniker The Rock, is considered one of professional wrestling’s all-time greats. And SmackDown is named after one of his signature catchphrases.

Recently there were reports that The Rock received a $20 million offer from Saudi Arabia to appear at WWE’s Crown Jewel Pay-Per-View as the Universal Champion.

The event, which will be WWE’s second PPV in Saudi Arabia, is scheduled to take place on November 2 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
