A day before the most awaited semi-final cricket match between India and Pakistan is round the corner, heavy rains and thunderstorm in Mohali town of northern Indias Punjab state on Tuesday late evening disappointed numerous cricket lovers. The cricket fans said they would bear losses if it continues raining. Meanwhile, some cricket fans, who visited the city specially to watch the crucial match raised concern over the condition of the pitch would get affected due to heavy rains.According to local media reports, the met predicted that on Wednesday there could be thunderstorm with light rain at few places in entire northern Punjab state, which might postpone the match. Cricket fever has already reached crescendo when the neighbours meet in northern Indian town of Mohali with the dreams of two cricket-crazy nations resting on their shoulders. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani will watch the eagerly awaited match. The PCA (Punjab Cricket Association) Stadium in Mohali is expecting jam-packed stands including scores of Pakistani fans.India and Pakistan have faced each other four times in the World Cup, and each time India has finished on top. But none of the matches was smooth sailing and lived up to the hype of a classic India-Pakistan encounter.
