Indian cricket team declared as favourite in 2nd semi-final

Most of the cricket enthusiasts and experts around the world have declared Indian team to be the favourite in 2nd semi-final of ICC World Cup 2011. Where as Imran Khan claims that politics in Pakistan has also become a battlefield after India is declared as favourite. Presently, Indian team has three batsmen who are the highest scorers of World Cup. Opening batsmen for Indian team, Sachin Tendulkar and Varinder Sehwag along with Yuvraj Singh are the top scoring batsmen of World Cup. The Indian batsmen have maintained a very good average during the tournament. They seem to be quite dangerous during the first 15 overs of the match; however running of Indian batsmen is not that impressive, as 5 of their players have been run-out so far in the tournament. By maintaining a run rate of more than 6.3 runs per over, the performance of Indian team has been outstanding so far. They have also been remarkable in fielding during this tournament. The bowling side of Indian team has not been very impressive as their economy rate was also quite high and so far Indian bowlers have not been able to take any wicket during bowling power-play.
