Summary Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium is set to host the first quarterfinal of World Cup 2011.

Pakistan, whch arrived in Dhaka on Monday, will take on West Indies in the first quarterfinal on Wednesday. The green shirts will take part in a practice session on Tuesday at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Mirpur. After winning their five group matches out of six, Pakistan perched at the top spot in group A. Team manager Intikhab Alam said that win against Australia boosted the morale of the boys and they were confident about their victory in the quarterfinal.He said that Pakistan had no security issue in Bangladesh and same security arrangements would be made for the team that were made for South Africa and West Indies.
