Summary Holland batted superbly to score 306 runs in 50 overs as Ireland eventually bowled out the team.

Holland is off to a good start as the team gave Ireland a target of 307 runs, as they were looking to bowl them out at a low total. Holland middle order batsmen, Ryan Doeschate scored a 106 runs in just 108 balls along with Holland captain William Borren who scored 84 runs 82 balls. Holland’s last four wickets fell on the last four balls of the last over and all of them were run out. From Ireland’s side, Paul Robert Stirling and John Mooney both took two wickets. In the ‘Group B’ match being played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, Ireland won the toss against Holland and sent them to bat first. Both the teams have so far played seven matches out of which Ireland has won five and Holland has just won two.
