Summary WAPDAs cyclist, Haroon Rashid won the 8th stage of tour of de Pakistan cycle race on Wednesday.
Haroon returned a timing of 3 hours, 44 minutes and one second to reach Lahore after starting the 178 kilometre long stage from Sahiwal. Altogether 46 riders set off on a strenuous journey and Haroon exhibited superior technique and stamina to leave behind all the riders.SSGC’s Farooq with a timing of 3 hours, 44 minutes and 11 seconds grabbed the second spot. WAPDA’s Sabi grabbed the third place with 3 hours, 44 minutes and 21 seconds. Afghanistan’s Hashmat Ullah clinched fourth spot with 3 hours, 44 minutes and 31 seconds.Mohammad Rafiq from Army and SSGC’s Sultan Aftab took fifth and sixth places respectively.
