Summary National Tennis arrived after winning Davis Cup Group 2 Tie against Hong Kong President Pakistan Tennis Federation received the players at Islamabad Airport and appreciated their performance, reported Dunya News.
Pakistan Tennis Federation President Kaleem Imam along with other officials received the National Stars Akeel Khan, Yasir Khan and Samir Iftikhar and congratulated them on their victory against Hong Kong in Oshiana Davis Cup Group 2.Talking to media, Kaleem Imam said that this victory has won a great name for the country and it will help to make up deficiencies and will encourage performing well in the coming Davis Cup tie scheduled to be held in July this year.Coach Mushaf Zia said that he never saw Akeel before this to perform in an excellent way.Akeel Khan told the media that the team was under pressure after losing first match of Hasam however, with the support of the team and applause of the fans he played well after entering the court.He further said that a hard work and training is required to perform well in the tie to be held in July.
