SUNNE (AFP) - Estonia s Ott Tanak drove his Toyota into the early lead of the Rally of Sweden on Thursday with world champion Sebastien Ogier trundling home in ninth place in the first stage held in the Karlstad hippodrome.
Tanak edged out teammate Jari-Matti Latvala and Citroen s Mads Ostberg over the short, 1.9km special stage.
Ogier, who won the season-opener in Monte Carlo last month, was 2.5sec off the pace in his M-Sport Ford.
