Summary Police resorted to baton charge to disperse the protesting cricket fans in the Indian city Bangalore.
People gathered to get the ticket of the India versus England World Cup match that is scheduled on March 2 at Chinnaswamy Stadium Bangalore. Some 45,000 tickets were supposed to be sold for the match but the organizers sold only 1,000 tickets to the crowd came to buy the tickets.The mob turned furious at missing out the opportunity of witnessing the home side playing. Disappointed fans chanted slogans against the World Cup Organizing Committee member and former Test cricketer Anil Kumble, who hails from Bangalore.
