Summary Australian skipper Ricky Ponting gave another demonstration of his violent behavior when he broke the TV set installed in the dressing room, after getting run out in a match against Zimbabwe.
Ponting was given run out, while playing on 28 at Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmadabad. Watching his dismissal on TV in the dressing room Ponting could not control his fury and smashed the LCD Television with his bat.The Indian media has broken the news of Ponting’s exasperation. The ground officials reported the incident to the ICC. A foreign news agency claimed that no action against Ponting is in consideration.
