Summary First round of 18th National Hockey Championship has been completed. PIA, National Bank, WAPDA and Sui Southern Gas teams have reached into the semifinals. Two matches were played on the last day of pool matches in the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium.
In the first match, WAPDA defeated Pakistan Steel by 3-2 while National Bank won the second match by 3-2 against Sui Southern Gas. First semifinal would be played between National Bank and WAPDA and PIA would face Sui Southern Gas in the second semifinal on February 12. And final match of National Hockey Championship between the two winning teams of the semifinals would be played on February 13 in the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium.
