Summary Director General PCB Javed Miandad has suggested to save Pakistan cricket by learning from mistakes done in past.
Talking to official news agency, legendary Javed Miandad has revealed that there is a strong hand behind spot fixing. It is quite unfortunate that of our top players have been banned by a tribunal of ICC probing into spot fixing allegations and it is in the larger interest of cricketers to cooperate with PCB to disclose the “chain“ to the public, he told. Justifying his claim, Miandad said alone two or three players cannot do the spot fixing and it has its own sequence which should be brought to picture. He also said that I will soon be meeting with Chairman,PCB to suggest him to conduct a through investigation of banned players to reach those who are behind the scene and influencing the players to involve in negative practise of spot fixing. Javed Miandad also said that in order to purify cricket from corruption, a grand operation must be carried out.
