Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has cancelled National Hockey teams tour of Egypt due to political unrest in that country. In a press conference in National Hockey Stadium Lahore, Asif Bajwa said that they could not contact Egyptian Hockey Federation for last few days and they have decided to cancel the 5-match series. He said that it was impossible for the hockey team to play matches in Egypt due to political crisis prevailed din that country. He said that this series would be organized in Pakistan but would be cancelled if Egyptian team doesnt agree to visit Pakistan.
