The Pakistan Cricket Team coach Waqar Younis has given reply of the show cause notice issued to him over his comments about the PCB decision to delay announcement of name of the captain for World Cup. PCB had announced WC squad without naming the captain which raised doubts whether the incumbent captain Shahid Afridi will be handed the role or if he will replaced by Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq. Waqar Younis has sent written reply to the PCB regretting his comments. Waqar had said: I am surprised that the board has delayed announcing the captain. I don't know the reasons for this but personally I think the captain should have been named with the team.
