Summary Mayweather has been 'cherry-picking' his opponents to make himself look good, Khan claimed.

DUNYA WEB DESK -- In his Twitter message, British boxer of Pakistani origin Amir Khan confirmed that American boxer Floyd Mayweather did not respond to his repeated challenges for a fight claiming ‘he’s running scared’.
Talking to UAE based paper The National, Khan said “People say I have no chance and I don’t deserve to be in the ring with Floyd, Why not?”
“Floyd is not the same fighter as he was three or four years ago. That’s why he picks slow fighters, because he doesn’t have the same movement as he used to. I have been working very hard in camp on a Plan A, Plan B and Plan C on how to beat him. I mean, don’t get me wrong, he is a great fighter, but he has dodged two of the quickest fighters in the business because he knows I can give him a headache,” Khan said, referring to himself and Manny Pacquiao.
Responding to allegations, Mayweather made a counter allegation saying Khan is only interested fighting him for a ‘massive pay check’.
According to reports, American champion boxer Floyd Mayweather is considering Amir Khan and Argentina’s Marcos Maidana for a MGM Grand fight in Las Vegas on May 3rd.
Aamir Khan has been reportedly challenging Mayweather for a match claiming Mayweather has been ‘cherry-picking’ his opponents to make himself look good.
“If you look at his last three or four fights … all of them are slow, with no footwork, one-dimensional fighters,” he said.
However, he hasn’t received any response from Mayweather’s team.
Announcing the cancellation of the fight, the 27-year-old boxer said on Twitter:
“No response from Mayweather or his team. Fights not happening. I should of taken the title fight last December against Alexander...”
Expressing his disappointment, he said:
“Very disrespected by his team. Wasted my time”
Khan also apologized to his fans saying “Can I apologies to the thousands of people who are let down. You me and everyone wanted the Mayweather fight. He s running scared.”
