Summary England's Steven Gerrard was set to have a scanning of knee injury on Monday.
Gerrad had to face "precautionary scan" on a knee injury ahead of the friendly international away to Sweden on Wednesday, the Football Association announced.
However, the FA said the 99-times capped Liverpool midfielder "was expected to be fit to travel to Sweden where he is in line to win his 100th cap for his country".
Gerrard suffered his injury during Liverpool s 1-1 Premier League draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
