Wests Tigers of the National Rugby League have signed Super League coach and former fullback Mick Potter to a two-year deal.The team said in a statement Wednesday that Potter, who has been coaching in the Super League since 2007 with French side Catalans, St. Helens and most recently Bradford, will take over for Tim Sheens. Sheens was fired after 10 years with the club when it failed to make this years playoffs.Potter played primarily with Canterbury and St. George and had a short stint with the now-defunct Western Reds before retiring in 1996.He was Super League coach of the year in 2008 with Catalans and in 2012 with Bradford.
