Summary Ryder Cup captain Maria Olazabal was thrilled by a message of congratulations from King of Spain.
Olazabal was still riding a wave of emotion following his teams spectacular victory over the United States.Europe fought back from 10-6 down going into Sundays singles matches and Italian Francesco Molinari halved the final game against former world number one Tiger Woods to seal a dramatic 14 1/2-13 1/2 win over the shell-shocked hosts.Im still riding the wave, Olazabal told a news conference in London. All square or maybe one up.Lee came on to the tee and asked me how I was doing - I had done my maths and thought we still had a chance of winning and I had to walk away. He realised that I was very emotional at that time and when he was stood over his ball he was thinking: Wow I need to win my point.
