Summary LHC has said that Sapna Case should not be taken as easy as a joke.
The police may solve the issue, if it would like to do so.Sheikh Najmul Hasan conducted hearing of Sapna Khan Recovery Case moved by the brother of the abducted girl. It was said in the petition that firstly Punjab ex-Chief Minister Dost Muhammad wedded Sapna Khan and later divorced her.She was abducted from the area of GRO when she was returning after having a meeting with Dost Muhammad. It was also said in the petition that Dost Muhammad might have killed her after abduction.After hearing preliminary arguments, the court said that the issue should not be taken easy and ordered police to submit progress report made for recovery of the victim.The court further commented that if police had showed soberness and seriousness, the issue would have been resolved. The hearing was adjourned till March 8.
